Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 9 September 2026
Revizl ("Revizl", "we", "us") owns and operates this service. These terms form an agreement between you and Revizl when you use the Revizl website and app.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, subscribing, or continuing to use Revizl, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. If you are under the age required to form a contract where you live, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf and is responsible for the account.
2. What Revizl provides
Revizl is a study planning tool. You enter your subjects, exam or deadline dates and your availability, and Revizl generates a week-by-week revision schedule with suggested study sessions, and tracks your progress. Revizl provides study organisation only — it does not provide academic tuition, exam content, or any guarantee of results.
3. Your account
You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Revizl for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive;
- send spam, or attempt to access other users' accounts or data;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or upload content you have no rights to;
- interfere with the security or operation of the service, including uploading malware, probing or scanning our systems, scraping, or circumventing technical limits;
- reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service.
5. Licence and intellectual property
Revizl retains ownership of the service and all intellectual property in it, including the software, planning algorithm, documentation and branding. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Revizl for your own personal study within the plan you have selected. You keep ownership of the content you enter (your subjects, dates and notes); you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service to you.
6. Service level
We work to keep Revizl available and accurate, but the service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a generated plan will suit every circumstance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Payment and billing
Revizl is free to start: every new account gets the rest of the sign-up week plus two full weeks of revision planning at no cost. Revizl Pro unlocks the rest of your plan for the one-time payment shown on our pricing page. Your purchase does not renew or recur — there is no subscription and no automatic billing.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe on behalf of Revizl. Stripe handles card processing, tax calculation and collection, invoicing and receipts. We never see or store your card details.
Payment, billing, tax and refund mechanics are also subject to Stripe's consumer terms. See our refund policy for how refunds work.
If someone else (for example a parent or guardian) pays for your access, the account and its data still belong to the account holder who signed up.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where there is a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time from your account settings. When access ends you may export or delete your plan data; we will delete or anonymise remaining personal data as described in our privacy notice.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, data, grades, opportunities or goodwill. You are responsible for your own revision and for meeting your own deadlines.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. Where changes are material we will give reasonable notice, for example by email or an in-app notice. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. For questions about these terms, contact Kit Daniel Eric Harvey through the support channel listed in the app. Billing questions can be sent to the same support channel, and card payments are processed by Stripe.
